We are a free-to-join organisation based in the village of Lane End, Buckinghamshire. Our aims are to encourage and promote fellowship and health within our community, based around two of life’s greatest pleasures: cycling and fine ales. Indeed, it was felt that the combination of these two diversions (in moderation, of course), would appeal to like-minded sybarites as far afield as the neighbouring hamlet of Wheeler End.
Visit our blog for regular updates on forthcoming rides, details of previous events and members’ news, plus details of the wondrous LEGC merchandise that is in the pipeline.
Please feel free to leave any witty bon mots, jokes and anecdotes that you feel our members may enjoy. Although – careful – some of our members are not in the Zenith of health, and racier comments may send their hearts beating faster than a steep climb up Bullock’s Farm Lane after three pints in West Wycombe.
We call this one the “Fauntleroy”.
It could possibly be used on the breast of a polo shirt, or as a back tattoo.

Good sport Sirs!!!…Is one required to wear a handle-bar moustache??
Moustache wearing is not obligatory although it might be a good idea in November, or what has now become “Movember”. See movember.com for details… I’m growing one.

And the best news is…
The bike is optional. There are periodic outings within walking distance, and if one is hell-bent on moderation (which few of us are!) then the automobile is always an option.
